HC 508 Management of Information and Communication Technologies in Health Care Systems

Information and communication technologies are rapidly expanding elements of health services delivery systems. This course focuses on the management of current and emerging information and communication technologies in health care organizations. Topics will include the evolution of health care information, the organization of information systems, and financial information technologies on quality of care. Utilization of telecommunication technologies to share medical information and education among health care institutions will also be explored.
