Lore joined DeSales University in 2005 and coordinates multiple aspects of the programming here at the Salesian Center.  She is responsible for arranging the logistics for all activities and events.  She facilitates media relations, manages the web site, maintains all social media communications and assists the director with research and development. 

She also manages the data relevant to our many operations and directs a discussion group (► Lunch Bunch) for faculty & staff.  

Lore is currently studying theology/ philosophy, and computer science, through the ACCESS program at DeSales University.

Fr. Fisher returned to the faculty of DSU in 2011 after having served in Oblate secondary education as a teacher and administrator, most recently at Northeast Catholic and Fr. Judge High Schools in Philadelphia.  At the Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE he served as principal. He holds degrees in Spanish (B.A. from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales), Theology (M.Div. from DeSales School of Theology), and Secondary Education Administration (M.Ed. from Villanova University and Ed.D. from Wilmington College). Fr. Fisher entered the religious congregation of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales (O.S.F.S.) in 1980 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1988.

Working part-time in the Salesian Center, Fr. Fisher will be chiefly responsible for the administration and assessment of our academic programs.  In particular, he will manage the ► Faith & Reason Honors Program, direct the ► Salesian Studies Online program, and coordinate ► research projects that are undertaken through the Salesian Center.


Occasionally, the Salesian Center also benefits from the work of one or more undergraduate students, employed in the Salesian Center annually under the existing provisions of the Financial Aid Office.  Two positions are regularly available in:

  • Office Assistant ... to assist with information retrieval, data management, and promotional mailings
  • Media Assistant ... to assist with photography and/or videography of events and related publications
