Corporate and Foundation Relations is an important part of the fundraising efforts of the Office of Institutional Advancement as it assists the University in its pursuit of funds for projects that support DeSales's mission and strategic plan.
While most philanthropic gifts to higher education come from individuals, grants from foundations and corporations play a significant role in helping to fund scholarships, programs, research, and other initiatives. The three main sources of grant funding are foundations, corporate foundations, and the state and federal governments.
The director of corporate and foundations relations works with administrators, faculty, and staff to identify funding sources, assists with proposal development, and facilitates the submission of grant proposals.
