The preceptor handbook is designed as a guide and reference point for both potential and current preceptors. It contains information regarding the mission and philosophy of the Graduate Nursing Programs, program outcomes, the roles and responsibilities of preceptors, faculty and students, program policies and even guidelines for successful precepting.
