DeSales University’s National Security Club will host Dr. John Behling, author of the forthcoming book, The D.N.A. of Terrorism, on September 21, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the Commonwealth Room of the University Center on the Center Valley campus. Behling will share a chapter from the book as part of his presentation.
The event is free of charge and is open to the public. No RSVP is required.
Dr. Behling served as an infantry soldier in World War II before being transferred to the Office of Strategic Services and Military Intelligence, where he continued to work after the war ended. Behling was a member of the Office of Intelligence and Research with the Department of State and also served as a Foreign Service officer in Germany. He has worked as a freelance contract agent for the CIA and has been a professor at various state universities.
Dr. Behling has a master’s of education degree in foreign languages and a Ph.D. in psycholinguistics. He is the author of numerous articles on the USSR and has also written about terrorism and language studies. Behling is a member of numerous organizations, including the Association for Intelligence Officers and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy.
