Q. I have an address change, what should I do?
A.
E-mail hr@desales.edu with the change and the effective date and we will update the appropriate records. You will need to contact TIAA-CREF and BAS directly with your changes.

Q. I just got married and need to change my name, how do I do that?
A. First of all, congratulations! As soon as you have an updated social security card, bring it to the human resources office. You will also need to complete and submit a new W4 form.

Q. My spouse was laid off from his/her job. How soon can I add him/her to my medical insurance policy with DeSales University?
A.
This is considered a qualifying event and your spouse can be covered on the first of the month following his or her separation from work. Contact human resources for an insurance change form.

Q. I just started working for DeSales University. When do I get paid?
A.
Administrative & professional employees get paid once a month on the last business day of the month (unless the last day of the month falls on a weekend or holiday in which case it will be the day prior to the weekend or holiday) .

 Support staff employees get paid twice per month on the 15th of the month and last business day of the month (unless the 15th or last business day of the month falls on a weekend or holiday in which case it will be the day prior to the weekend or holiday) . For additional information, refer to the payroll schedule.
