DeSales to Host Second Annual Business Ethics Seminar, Tuesday, March 16
The Second Annual Business Ethics Seminar will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, in the Priscilla Payne Hurd Science Center at DeSales. The program is open to the public free of charge and will feature experts in the criminal justice system.
Distinguished speakers include: the Honorable Carol K. McGinley, judge of Lehigh County Common Pleas Court and vice chairman of the Supreme Court Procedural Rules Committee; Paul F. Laughlin, Esq., former assistant district attorney to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and former special assistant attorney to the U.S. Attorney Office; and Daniel W. Blahusch, chief U.S. probation officer, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The Rev. Thomas F. Dailey, OSFS, professor of theology and director of the Salesian Center for Faith & Culture at DeSales, will moderate a question-and-answer session following the panel discussion.
Also, John F. Spirk, Esq., assistant professor of criminal justice at DeSales, will introduce the guest panelists, and Dr. Joe Lewis, professor and chairperson of the department of business at DeSales, will provide closing remarks.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the DeSales University Business Department, DeSales University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE), the Salesian Center for Faith and Culture at DeSales, the DeSales University Criminal Justice Department and the DeSales University Criminal Justice Club.
