We are committed to helping our students be successful, both as students and as clinicians. Three avenues of entry are possible into the program:
- Directly from high school
- As a transfer student with some college experience
- Following graduation from a college or university
Students entering from high school study three years as a Medical Studies major and subsequently enter the PA Program.
The PA Program's graduate curriculum is 24 months in length. The first 12 months of the program emphasize didactic instruction, while the clinical year consists of nine, five-week rotations.
Since 2002, DeSales graduates have had a 100% FIRST TIME pass rate on the National Certification Examination for Physician Assistants.
Typically, there is 100% employment for our graduates within 4 months of graduation with most of our graduates receiving multiple job offers during their clinical training.
