What is Character U?
Character U: First Year Experience at DeSales University is an innovative resource for our first-year students to help make the transition from high school to college a little smoother. Character development opportunities throughout the year include keynote speakers, diverse programs, campus events, and meetings with your peer mentor.

How do I get a peer mentor?
As a first-year student, you'll be assigned a peer mentor to help guide you though your freshman year. Your mentor will make contact with you during the summer before you attend DeSales University. We encourage you to communicate with, ask questions of, and get to know your mentor throughout the summer.
