As the leading specialized accreditation association for business education, ACBSP recognizes educational practices that contribute to the continuous improvement of business education and upholds that schools and programs adhere to teaching and learning practices of excellence.
Located in Overland Park, Kansas, ACBSP was founded in 1988 in response to a need for specialized accreditation for business schools affiliated with small colleges and universities. An important part of its mission emphasizes quality in teaching and learning outcomes.
ACBSP is the only business school accrediting body that offers specialized accreditation at all degree levels, from community college associate degrees to doctoral programs offered at select universities. Current membership includes 671 educational institutions; 504 of which have achieved accreditation, 17 corporate members, and 16 emeritus members.1
Graduates of ACBSP-accredited schools have the skills and knowledge that prepare them for work in the global economy and business leadership in their local community.
