Assistant Professor
Fr. Fisher returned to the faculty of DSU in 2011 to teach Theology, Spanish, and Education courses and also to serve as the Coordinator of Educational Initiatives in the Salesian Center for Faith & Culture.
He worked many years in Oblate secondary education as a teacher and administrator, most recently at Northeast Catholic and Fr. Judge High Schools in Philadelphia. At the Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE he served as principal.
He holds degrees in Spanish (B.A. from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales), Theology (M.Div. from DeSales School of Theology), and Secondary Education Administration (M.Ed. from Villanova University and Ed.D. from Wilmington College).
Fr. Fisher entered the religious congregation of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales (O.S.F.S.) in 1980 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1988.
