POSITION: PT Human Resources Assistant
TYPE: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Support Staff
SCOPE:
The Human Resources Assistant is the primary administrative support staff for the Human Resources Department. This position has primary responsibility for all office administrative functions to include files and website management, benefits administration, personnel records maintenance, job posting and applicant tracking, data input and maintenance of the organization’s HR Information System and preparation of department correspondence and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires a background in the Human Resources function with at least 2 years’ experience in an HR administrative role
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills are imperative in this role
• Due to the nature of the information handled, adherence to strict confidentiality principles are a must
• Additional work hours beyond the regular work schedule are occasionally required
• Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
• Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
