Salesian Spirituality and the 12-Step Program


A look at the 12-step program through the lens of Salesian Spirituality delivered by the president and CEO of Fr. Martin’s Ashley, Oblate Fr. Mark Hushen. Fr. Martin’s Ashley is “a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, chemical dependency and chronic pain.” A dynamic speaker, Fr. Mark brings a wealth of experience in the areas of 12 Step spirituality and alcohol and drug addiction treatment.

The Year of Consecrated Life 2015: Part II

A look at the vows and their lived experience in community through the eyes of a religious sister, brother and priest. This is the second installment in this series following up on our initial Advent offering. This course will run only for the first four weeks treating the topics of poverty, chastity, obedience, and community/charism.

Time for Prayer

Lent provides us with an opportunity to spend some additional time in prayer, and/or improve the time we spend in prayer.  Using the writings of St. Francis de Sales and Fr. Gerald O'Collins, S.J.'s book Pause for Thought, we will journey together this Lent talking to our God, who loves us, who created us and who wants to be with us.
