Payment
Parking violations must be paid within 72 hours (3 days). Payment of parking fines may only be made at the Treasurer's Office located on the second floor of Dooling Hall. No payment will be accepted at DeSales University Police Department.
Unpaid fines will double after 72 hours. After ten (10) days, unpaid fines will be automatically charged to the registered operator's DSU account for triple the original fine amount.
Appeals
If you feel that the ticket was issued to you in error you may appeal that ticket.
- Appeals must be submitted within five (5) days of the violation.
- Appeal forms are available at the Office of University Police, Lawless Center and on the University website (see link below).
- Completed appeal forms must accompany a copy of the ticket and must be filed in person.
- Appeal decisions are final.
Any appeals received after the five-day deadline will not be considered. The ticket fine acceleration will not occur while your appeal is being processed. When you receive your appeal decision, you will have five (5) business days to make payment if one is due.
