Netwall Makes history at DSU

Story by Alen Beljin profiles senior Jen Netwall, who became the fifteenth basketball player in DeSales history to score 1,000 points. According to coach Fred Richter, "Net" is a positive influence. "She's sharp, the kind of kid everyone wishes were his or her daughter," said Richter. "I don't think you'll find a more honest or trustworthy good person. She is very tough. I have been tough on her, but she takes it and understands it. I was a point guard." Netwall, of Allentown, is an elementary education major, who will be student teaching at Washington Elementary School this semester. She hopes to teach in the Lehigh Valley after graduation and also coach basketball.
