Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club to Give Presentation to DeSales Marketing Students, Thurs., Feb. 24
Members of the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club will share their professional insight with students at DeSales University during a presentation from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, February 24, in the Priscilla Payne Hurd Auditorium. The program will focus on marketing communications and related issues in the field.
At the conclusion of the program, the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club will present a check for $500 to the DeSales Marketing Club. The money will go towards expanding the activities of the club, funding several service learning activities, and providing students with a variety of educational opportunities. Some of the money will help marketing students who are working with Eastern Pennsylvania Down Syndrome Center in Trexlertown, Pa., to develop and promote its services and create a strategy for fundraising this spring.
The DeSales Marketing Club is a member of the international American Marketing Association, which is based out of Chicago. The club works towards advancing the thought, application and ethical practices of marketing.
Affiliated with the American Advertising Federation, the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club is working to help the advertising community in the Lehigh Valley region grow and gain more visibility. The club offers professionals and students the opportunity to network with educational programs, and promote standards of excellence in the field of marketing.
