The Higher Education section includes mention of junior and senior accounting students at DeSales providing free tax assistance for senior citizens and lower income individuals through Friday, April 1. The service is part of a U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) volunteer program. Students were required to pass a test given by the IRS, in order to receive certification, in order to participate in the program.
