An interview with Chris Cocozza, assistant professor of business at DeSales, about the tax help that DeSales accounting students are providing senior citizens was featured during the morning broadcasts on WAEB radio. Junior and senior accounting majors provided free tax preparation assistance to senior citizens in the local area at the YMCA on Wed., Feb. 23. The students also offering assistance to senior citizens and to those with lower incomes in the local area, as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program of the IRS, until Friday, April 1. Announcement on tax prep help by DeSales accounting students also appeared in The Express-Times on Thurs., Feb. 3.
