Two-Part Series on Pope John Paul II

Father Thomas Dailey, professor of theology and director of the Salesian Center for Faith & Culture at DeSales, was featured in a two-part series on Pope John Paul II, during the 6:30 p.m. news broadcast on Monday and Tuesday, February 21 and 22. Father Dailey, a Vatican scholar, discussed the life, legacy and history of Pope John Paul II. He also addressed the speculations regarding the possibility of the 84-year-old pope's resignation, in view of his failing health. Father Dailey created and taught a course on the pope at DeSales and Lehigh universities. He has been contacted by various print and broadcast media for commentary related to the pope, as well as religious issues, in general.
