Some talent-based scholarships are available for the Intensive and the Advanced Intensive only. Competition is keen—30% of students attending the program will receive awards, which range from 15 - 100% of tuition.
Talent scholarship Day
Talent scholarship day will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Students unable to attend scheduled times may submit a videotape or portfolio, to be received by STI before April 28, or call for an earlier alternate date. After April 28, applicants can call the STI office to make arrangements for an audition, though scholarships will no longer be available.
Eligibility is based on:
1. Superior Talent
2. Application materials postmarked by April 23 or faxed by April 26, 2012
Materials and Items
Two pieces that showcase your strengths: either two monologues, or a monologue and a song. Total audition time: 3 minutes. A dance selection may be substituted for the second monologue or song. (Bring a CD accompaniment for song or dance.) Each audition must include a monologue. A brief interview will follow. Tech/Design bring a portfolio.
