Article on 24th Annual Dinner-Dance at DeSales, scheduled for Saturday, March 19 in Billera Hall, provides details on the annual fund-raiser for student financial aid. The theme for the 2005 event is "Viva Las Vegas!" Its inspiration is the glamour of vintage Vegas in the "Rat Pack" years. To date, the black-tie event has raised $1.5 million for deserving students. This year's Gold Sponsor is Tony Salvaggio, president, and his wife, Norene. More than 700 guests, including business, professional, and community leaders from the area, are sponsoring tables or providing contributions.
