Announcement on William Kristol, guest speaker for the 22nd Annual Frank L. Marcon Lecture, on Thursday, April 28, in Billera Hall. Kristol, one of the nation's leading political analysts and commentators, is a frequent guest on television news programs. He is the founder and editor of the influential Washington-based political magazine, The Weekly Standard, and was named "The Hottest Pundit in Town" by Washingtonian magazine. He served as chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle in the George H.W. Bush administration, and as chief of staff and counselor to Secretary of Education William Bennett, during the Reagan administration. He co-authored the New York Times best-seller, "The War Over Iraq: Saddam's Tyranny and America's Mission."
