Locals fuel DeSales baseball success

Article by Alen Beljin profiles the success of Bulldogs' Matt Reppert, a junior and biology major, who was named Freedom Conference pitcher and player of the year, and Nolan Neiman, senior and sports management major, who is second baseman and entered the season in DeSales' all-time top 10 in on-base percentage. Both Reppert and Neiman played in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League last summer - Reppert for the Lehigh Valley Catz and Neiman for the Quakertown Blazers. According to Beljin, the league has produced nearly 80 Major League Baseball players. The story includes comments by Coach Tim Neiman, who has won 24 or more games in 10 or the last 11 seasons.
