Marcon Lecture with guest speaker, William Kristol, includes coverage of the evening lecture and also the student discussion session earlier in the day. More than 1,100 people attended the public talk by Kristol, founder of "The Weekly Standard," an influential conservative opinion journal and a leading political analyst and commentator who appears regularly on television news programs. Kristol addressed American politics today and offered his assessment of President Bush's foreign policy and his presidency. He also shared some anecdotes about his early career as a political staffer. Scott Paul, director of DeSales' TV/film program, and Anthony Coppa, an English major at DeSales, were quoted in the story.
