The Freddy Awards, sponsored by the State Theatre, honor excellence in high school musical theater across the region with scholarships, an internship and also a statue. For the third year, DeSales will offer a $5,000 scholarship per year for four years to the DeSales theater department. Students who have been accepted by DeSales and attend a school that is participating in the 2005 Freddy Awards will be eligible to apply.
