Story by Gail Scudder on the 2005 Freddy Awards, to be held at the State Theatre on May 26, and broadcast live on WFMZ-TV, states that 26 high schools in the Lehigh Valley and Warren County, N.J. areas will participate this year. The awards include a $20,000 scholarship from DeSales. Freedom High School received 14 nominations, the highest of any school. In all, there are 18 categories, with five nominees each.
