In a story by Alen Beljin on DeSales junior, Matt Reppert, a winner of three-conference pitcher of the year awards, Beljin describes him as "a shining example of someone who's truly found a home at the Division III level." Beljin feels many young successful athletes might be better off if they followed Reppert's example. Reppert played in the Mid-Atlantic regionals each spring and, as a freshman, pitched in the College World Series. Beljin notes those experiences simply may not have been possible with the Patriot League schools that pursued him. Reppert will soon start his third year pitching for the Lehigh Valley Catz of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball Leagues.
