Hauze helps DeSales win regionals opener

Article by Ted Meixell mentions senior DeSales shortstop Ian Hauze, who was named MAC Freedom Conference player twice and 2003 NCAA Division III first-team All-American. According to coach Tim Neiman, Hauze has "demonstrated his top-shelf qualities." "He may be the best player we've ever had here, and we've had nine kids go on to the pros," said Neiman. The 2-run, walk-off homer by Hauze gave the Bulldogs their 5 to 4 win over Messiah in the regional opener at Bear Stadium in Boyertown on May 19.
