Teaching with Technology, Focus of CyberTools Symposium at DeSales University, August 3 & 4
DeSales University will host a two-day CyberTools Symposium, "Teaching with Technology," from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday and Thursday, August 3 and 4, at the DeSales University Center Valley campus. The symposium will provide an open forum for discussion of "cyber" tools used by faculty for classroom enhancement and instructional effectiveness.
The first day of the symposium, on Wednesday, August 3, the symposium will include a one-day conference session with faculty presentations on the application of specific instructional technologies.
The second day, Thursday, August 4, will feature an "a la carte" selection of instructional application training seminars and workshops. Participants will have the opportunity for in-depth, hands-on exploration of specific topics relevant to teaching and learning.
The symposium is sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC), the LVAIC member institutions, and Gateway. It is open to the public at a cost of $25 for non-LVAIC members. It is free to faculty and staff of LVAIC member institutions. Registration is available online at www.lehigh.edu/cybertools.
