Opened in September of 1973, this dormitory is named for St. Frances Jane DeChantal (1572-1641), friend and spiritual student of Saint Francis de Sales. In 1610, she co-founded the Sisters of the Visitation of Holy Mary for widows and laywomen who did not wish or were not able to live the austere life of religious orders of the time.
