Rev. Louis Henry Jacquier (1873-1946) was another French pioneer who brought the Oblates to America. He was the first assistant provincial, the first community treasurer, and the first resident priest in the first Oblate parish in America located in Salisbury, Maryland. He was also one of the first faculty members at Salesianum School.
