Rep. Charles Dent, R-Lehigh Valley, announced that DeSales University and Moravian College will receive congressionally directed U.S. Department of Education grants for science and technology programs. DeSales will receive 4198,400 to fund part of its Digital Campus project. Moravian will receive $99,400 to upgrade and enhance the technology and equipment used to teach and research biology, chemistry and biochemistry. The Department of Education made the funds available beginning this month after colleges specified their plans.
