Story by Tara J. Connolly (with photos) features students, both juniors and seniors, from Bethlehem Catholic High School (Becahi) who are pursuing their college education early by participating in a distance learning class at DeSales. Qualified students, those with a required grade point average and perfect attendance, were given the opportunity to take college level classes in criminal justice and accounting. Dr. Karen Doyle Walton, provost and vice president for academic affairs, facilitated the distance learning partnership with DeSales. DeSales faculty members, William P. Dwyer, Jr., associate professor of business, and Albert Sproule, assistant professor of criminal justice, participate in the program.
