The Morning Call, Thursday, June 9, 2005
Article by Amy Longsdorf includes announcement of one-time screening of "In Convenience," the film produced by Prototype Productions, a group of DeSales students (now graduates), at Easton's State Theatre. Film producer Gina Lucrezi, TV / Film major and DeSales All-American, helped write, shoot and edit the film and is quoted in the article. The film runs about 75 minutes and tells the story of a sad-sack convenience store clerk whose life is beset by problems, including conflicts with girlfriend and job.
"In school, they teach you the technical side of filmmaking, but when you're out in the real world, you learn the importance of making deals," said Lucrezi. The group hopes to enter the film in the Sundance Film Festival and also shoot three more feature films locally.
