News segment with reporter Brittany Westbrook featured Kim Carson, student in DeSales' theater program, who is the only non-equity actor in the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival production of "Around the World in 80 Days." The segment also featured comments from artistic director Patrick Mulcahy. According to Mulcahy, usually the theater program's summer interns get supporting roles, but Carson's ability has her playing 4 characters, 3 of them men. Seasoned professionals on stage with her claim she may be young, but she's got it.
