Article on DeSales University awarding honorary doctor of humane letters degrees during the 37th commencement exercises on Saturday, May 21. The recipients included Lee A. Butz, CEO of Alvin H. Butz, Inc.; the Rev. Bernard F. Donohue, OSFS, distinguished retired DeSales faculty member; and Sr. Virginia Longcope, M.S.C., founder and director of Stephen's Place Inc. During the ceremony, Father Bernard O'Connor, University president, conferred degrees on 375 graduating students, including 325 bachelor's and 50 master's.
