Among the priests being honored is Msgr. Alfred A. Schlert, Vicar General of the Diocese of Allentown since 1998, is a member of the board of trustees at DeSales. As Vicar General, Msgr. Schlert oversees coordination of all administrative offices of the diocese and assists the bishop in the governance of the diocese.
