Article by Stacey Wescoe (including photo) on the DeSales Forensic Forum with guest speaker, Dr. Tom Crist, a bio-archeologist and forensic scientist, mentions the increasing interest forensic investigation, thanks to shows like C.S.I. Crist addressed the different aspects of forensics and archeology, and provided a display of skeletal remains. Story includes quote by Dr. Katherine Ramsland, assistant professor of forensic psychology at DeSales. "Clearly people are more interested in the subject now that they've been watching it on TV," says Ramsland. "But we get to talk to what really goes into crime scene investigations and the true science of it." The annual forum, established in 2001, has become an increasingly popular event attended by students, law enforcement professionals and interested members of the general public.
