Morning Call, Friday, July 8, 2005
Article by Dan Sheehan, Josh Drobnyk, and Arlene Martinez (with photo) gathers Lehigh Valley residents' response to the bombings in Britain and includes commentary by Jeff Hartney, a DeSales senior interning in New York City. The bombings in Britain are so similar to the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and affects those using mass transit in New York and Philadelphia. Hartney thought this commute to VH1 would be much more difficult than it was, but he did notice a "heightened police presence at the subway stops he traveled through during the day."
