Story by John A. Zukowski that ran with the Religion News Service includes comments by Father Thomas Dailey, professor of theology at DeSales, on progress of the new pope. Father Dailey states that Pope Benedict is advancing what Pope John Paul II stood for and appears to be "much more of a shepherd or pastor than the hatchet man," as he was portrayed before. Also, that he will take a very public stance on moral issues.
Story ran earlier in The Express-Times.
