Fire and health safety are the primary responsibilities of the Office of Public Safety. Fire alarm and suppression system inspections are regularly performed by the Public Safety Coordinator.
The Office of Public Safety is also charged with chemical hygiene and blood born pathogen training and control. Materials and guides are strategically located throughout the campus to handle biohazardous and chemical spills.
