 The DeSales Alumni Recruitment Team (DART) is a partnership between DSU Alumni and the University staff from the Office of Admissions. The goal of our program is to increase the number of prospective students with the assistance of DeSales University Alumni. Members of this group are asked to assist with University recruitment efforts in their hometown area. By doing so, DART members increase DeSales' visibility across the country in a variety of ways.
The DART program extends undergraduate recruitment efforts and allows Alumni to share their own undergraduate experiences. Becoming a member of the DeSales Alumni Recruitment Team will enhance a prospective DeSales University student's life.
As a DART member, you can become involved in the following types of activities:
- Assist admissions staff at area college fairs, answer general questions, as well as share your college experiences.
- Represent the University at area college fairs.
- Draft a personal alumni profile page which will posted on our website.
- Draft a letter relating your experiences at DeSales University. This letter can then be sent to appropriate prospective students.
- Assist with Alumni presentations at Admissions events.
- Inform the Office of Admissions of college fairs and recruitment events in your area.
- Identify qualified prospective students in your area.
- Communicate with prospective students and families. Share your DSU experience with others by phone or email.
The Office of Admissions will offer the following assistance to members of the DeSales Alumni Recruitment Team:
- Coordinating DART member participation in college fairs.
- Providing necessary training on the basics of our admissions process before representing at a college fair.
- Sending recruiting materials to DART member attending college fairs.
- Providing up-to-date University information through the DART Reference Manual.
- Recognition of DART member participation.
