Dr. Mary Ellen Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing and Health. Her expertise includes Maternal-Child Health, Adolescent Health, and Health Literacy and Health Communication. Her background also includes grant writing as well as a former position as the Independence Foundation Endowed Chair. Dr. Miller maintains a clinical practice as a Public Heath Nurse in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Miller teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels of study. At the undergraduate level, Dr. Miller teaches Community and Public Health Nursing for both traditional and RN-BSN students. Dr. Miller instructs the graduates in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
Dr. Miller received both her BSN and MSN at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her Ph.D. at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. |
