Dr. Margaret Slusser is an Associate Professor and the Chairperson of Nursing and Health. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Dr. Slusser's background includes critical care nursing, staff development and health television and documentary production for Pennsylvania Public Television. She maintains a private practice as a nurse psychotherapist and serves as a Mental Health Specialist for the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia.
Dr. Slusser's teaching responsibilities include the undergraduate Nursing Models and Research course.
Dr. Slusser received her diploma in nursing from Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing and her BS in Nursing from Wilkes University. She received her MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, as well as her Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
