Dazzling 'Cirque' takes flight

Story by Kayleen Reusser for the Fort Wayne, Indiana newspaper, profiles Ben Antipuna, who graduated from DeSales in 2002, with a degree in dance, was interviewed regarding his involvement in the "Cirque Dreams."  The show offers acrobatics, bell symphony and ballet. It features an international cast of actors, contortionists, and dancers from Lebanon, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Mongolia, Canada, Armenia, and the U.S. Antipuna says his character is a mixture of the devil and jester, and the show is very family-oriented.  They travel to several continents and 16 countries, and the troop works 10 months out of the year. Antipuna, a native of Philadelphia, lives in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., when not traveling with "Cirque Dreams."
