A story about the National Catholic Essay Contest being hosted by DeSales University describes the rules and regulations for submission. High school students across the country are eligible to compete, and students are asked to discuss the distinctiveness of Catholic thought. First prize is a $2,500 scholarship, second and third place essays will be awarded $1,500 scholarships.
