News in Brief includes announcement of the Walter Kerr Collection, now housed in Trexler Library at DeSales. The collection, previously kept in the family residence on Long Island, is the working library of renowned theatre critic, Walter Kerr. Walter and Jean Kerr's six children donated the collection of over 2,500 books to DeSales. Their son, Dr. Gregory Kerr, associate professor of Philosophy and Theology at DeSales, is quoted saying, "The books provide a unique window into New York theatre culture."
