Story by Cheryl Donovan-Nieves (with photos) features Jamie Gerhart, director of social outreach at DeSales, who coordinated the Catholic Charities annual Christmas Party event held in McShea Commons on Thursday, December 8. More than 150 children and adults attended the event, which included pony rides, puppet shows, arts and crafts, and live music. Santa Claus made an appearance and handed out stockings filled with goodies to the children.
