Story (with photos) features the DeSales sport management program, which held a Feed the Needy 5K run/walk in November, to raise awareness of homelessness and hunger. The event attracted 40 participants and helped to raise about $600 and to fill boxes with canned items. A check, food, and clothing were donated to New Bethany Ministries. Andrea Travisano, from Lower Saucon Township, a current DeSales student who helped coordinate the event, said, "It was definitely an eye opener" and gratifying to help families in need.
