DeSales University held its mid-year commencement on Sunday, January 22. Rev. Bernard O'Connor, DeSales president, conferred degrees upon 232 graduating students, including 112 bachelor's and 120 master's. This year marks DeSales' 40th anniversary. It also is the 15th anniversary of the master of business administration program, which is the largest in the Lehigh Valley area. Michael J. Gausling, founder and former CEO of OraSure, delivered the commencement address. Elmer D. Gates, former chairman, president and CEO of Fuller Company, was awarded the DeSales Medal.
